C+C Milano was founded by Piero Castellini Baldissera and Emanuele Castellini, two cousins from a Milanese family whose connection to textiles goes back to the mid-19th century, when Clateo Castellini took over a spinning mill in Milan. The brand carries that lineage forward with a rigorous focus on natural fibers and handmade finishing.
The two Cs in the name stand for the two Castellinis. The logo is two interlocking horseshoes, a nod to the family's long passion for riding. Everything is finished by hand in their Milan workshop. The careful control over the entire production, from spinning and weaving to the final finish, is one of the things that defines C+C Milano.
