Maggoosh is the work of Margarita Chrissaki, a Greek designer who began making jewelry at a young age and founded her brand at nineteen. She went on to study jewelry design at the Gemological Institute of America in New York, and the city left its mark on her work.
The Gummy Project came out of her life in New York and her love of breakdancing and street culture. She began photographing little gummy bear pendants around the city, and they took on personalities of their own. Breakers, skaters, and artists have since worn these pieces. Each gummy is made in sterling silver or 18k gold with transparent enamel that gives it that candy look.
Every piece is handcrafted in Greece by local artisans, playful on the surface, serious underneath.
